VI. What types of information should I post in:

  1. the Diet section?

The diet section of the Beverly International Forum was created for BI athletes and those interested in beginning a BI program to come together to discuss the nutrition plans they are following from the Pre Contest Workshop Manual, the Blueprints for Success Nutrition and Training Book, or other nutrition programs from articles in the No Nonsense Magazine or those listed on www.bodybuildingworld.com).

Here you can post your most successful nutrition programs, share results, ask questions, make suggestions and show support for other athletes like you who are trying to build muscle and/or lose fat.  It’s also a place to share information or ask questions about specific foods, food substitutions or other nutrition specific information.

Below are a few good examples of topics to be posted in the Diet section, as well as a link to where the topic can be found.

Throughout the years our Beverly staff, Sandy and I have worked with innumerable athletes and competitors. To give the best guidance possible to our board viewers I'm asking those of you who visit the board to post one of your very effective Beverly diets from the past, along with your results from following it. That way new viewers, and those who have forgotten just what kind of results are possible, will have a starting point. The goal would be for forum members to actually use these programs as templates for their own success. It doesn't have to be a competition program, although that is ok, but one where you improved your body composition by gaining muscle while losing fat, or even an effective muscle size and strength nutrition program. – Roger

Hello, I am new to bodybuilding (by new I mean that I just got a wonderful personal trainer who suggested Beverly International products).  I started training about 15 weeks ago and now I am starting to make modifications to my diet. I will try to follow the Level One Plan for Females just had a few questions. More info: I am 5'5", 29 years old, wt 135lbs and am about 24% BF.

Q. There is a long list of supplements to take other than the protein drinks...any suggestions on which supplements to start with? I get nervous starting with so many supplements at once. I want to give my body time to get adjusted.

What is the advantage of adding heavy whipping cream to some of the recipes? I am seeing that a lot in the recipes on this site. I am trying to build muscle but keep fat down. I am on a steep learning curve here! Brand new at this!Kara Mann

Ed note: This one was actually answered in the recipe section of the BI FAQ at www.bevnut.com/faq. The very best answers from the Discussion Forum topics and discussions are posted in the BI FAQ so be sure to check to see if your question was already answered there.
