BASIC BEVERLY PROTEIN SHAKE
Instructions
(1) Add ice cubes to the blender
(2) Pour cold water in blender (or milk if stated in the recipe)
(3) Add any
additional liquids
(4) Add any additional ingredients (other than protein powder)
(5) Add
stated amount of Beverly Protein Powder
(6) Blend all the ingredients till thoroughly mixed

BASIC BEVERLY INTERNATIONAL 1 SCOOP PROTEIN SHAKE
8 oz ice cold water
1 scoop Ultimate Muscle Protein or Muscle Provider
Shake or blend until smooth
BASIC 2 SCOOP PROTEIN SHAKE
16 oz cold water
2 scoops Ultimate Muscle Protein or Muscle Provider
Shake or blend until smooth
Use 8 oz (1 cup) liquid for each scoop of protein that you use. For a thicker consistency, use less liquid. For a thinner consistency, add a little more liquid.
OLD SCHOOL BASIC SHAKE
2-3 ice cubes
8 oz milk or water
1 scoop UMP (any flavor)
1 banana (frozen is great, but you have to peel it before putting it into freezer)
LISTING OF MOST WIDELY USED OPTIONAL PROTEIN SHAKE INGREDIENTS
Fresh or frozen fruit
Oatmeal
Sugar-free Jell-o pudding mix – look for individual serving size packets
Fiber - ground flax seed or psyllium husks (Metamucil)
If you are on a gain muscle while losing fat nutrition plan or to increase the caloric intake of your meal replacement shake
· Pasteurized egg whites – you can add these to any shake (or whole eggs, see note below) *
· Nut butters – almond, cashew, peanut butter
· Oils – flax, macadamia, safflower and olive oil
· Heavy whipping cream (see note below) **
FRESH OR FROZEN FRUIT OPTION
You can add ½ cup fresh or frozen fruit to the Basic Protein Shake recipe as follows:
12-14 oz cold water
1/2 cup fresh or frozen fruit (blueberries, strawberries, peach slices, berry medley)
2 scoops Ultimate Muscle Protein
Mix in a blender on medium for 1 minute. Pour into a tall glass. Enjoy!
BERRY PROTEIN SMOOTHIE
4-5 ice cubes
12-16 oz water
1-2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
2 scoops vanilla UMP
4 strawberries, ¼ cup mixed berries or ½ cup blueberries
(You can use fresh or frozen berries in this recipe, if you use frozen berries, you can omit the ice cubes.)

To add a little zest to my Muscle Provider shakes I sprinkle cinnamon in with the powder, add ice and water and shake.
